Q: Are Jim's films appropriate for younger children?

A: Exelent Q. Our advice is to heed the rating of each respected film. Most of the humor is physical (and sometimes called "toilet humor"). There is some sexual humor, some violence, etc. Check for reviews of each film on the Net, papers, TV, whatever. Parents, view the film without the kids first. Check out JCO for in-depth information, too.

Q: What about those cartoons based on Jim's popular film characters?

A: Ah, you mean Ace Ventura, the Mask, and Lloyd Christmas. Well, "Dumb and Dumber" only lasted one season. The film didn't translate to cartoon very well. As for "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" and "The Mask"; they both fared much better, lasting several seasons. They even had two "cross-over" episodes in which Ace and Stanley Ipkiss/Mask met each other in each character's respective series. Good times? good times?

Q: What about other stuff Jim's done?

A: Well, he's helped write a song (plus six more up to this point) called "Heaven Down Here" on the Tuck & Patty album "Learning How to Fly". Beautiful song, BTW.

A: Comic Relief, National Veterans Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Q: What's Jim like in real life?

A: He's alive. He breathes air, he eats, y'know, normal stuff like that. He's not "on" all the time. He's just a normal guy.

Q: Where do I write fan mail to Jim?
